Guest star Paul Burke plays a hardened criminal who kidnaps a child (Yves Corbeil) who witnessed his holdup of an amusement stand at a summer picnic. The boy's terrified mother (Catherine Begin), ill and unable to speak English, tries to communicate her son's location to Police Surgeon Locke (Sam Groom) and Detective Lt. Dan Palmer (Len Birman).
