Auf ihrer Reise nach Flori fängt Griffel wieder mit seinen alten Streichen an und stiehlt Ashs Mütze. Ash jagt ihm hinterher, und plötzlich befindet sich Griffel in höchster Gefahr. Jessie rettet es unter Einsatz ihres Lebens. Als Ash sich bei ihr bedankt, besteht sie darauf, dass Ash ihr als Dankeschön sein Griffel leiht, damit sie mit ihm an dem Dorf-Pokemon-Wettbewerb in der Nähe teilnehmen kann, von dem unsere Helden schon gehört haben. Auch Lucia will daran teilnehmen. Ash wird von Eifersuchtsanfällen geplagt, als er sieht, was für ein erstklassiges Team Jessie und Griffel auf dem Wettbewerb abgeben. Und schließlich werden auch noch Lucia und ihr Pachirisu von ihnen geschlagen. Jessie gewinnt den Wettbewerb. Als Team Rocket gerade mit ihrem Preis – Früchte für ein ganzes Jahr abheben – springt Griffel auf den Ballon. Sowohl Jessie als auch Ash glauben, dass Griffel Ash verlassen und bei Jessie bleiben will. Aber es stellt sich heraus, dass Griffel nur an den Früchten interessiert war. Wütend entschließt sich Team Rocket daraufhin, Pikachu zu stehlen. Aber sie werden – wie immer – in die Flucht geschlagen.
On the way to Floaroma Town, Dawn finds out that a unofficial Pokemon contest is being held nearby, and Dawn wants to enter it for some practice. Ash's Aipom then steals his hat and runs off. Aipom accidentally ends up on a cliff, and is about to fall off when Team Rocket passes by. Jessie saves Aipom, and when Ash and the others arrive, she demands that she wants to use Aipom in the Pokemon contest as a reward for saving it. Ash reluctantly agrees, but soon regrets it when he thinks Aipom likes Jessie more then him. With the contest beginning, Dawn is entering her Pachirisu and Jessie will still enter with Aipom, but will Ash be okay with the result?
Jessie sauve la vie du Capumain de Sacha et exige en échange de participer au Concours Pokemon avec lui dans un petit village sur la route de Floraville. Sacha lui accorde cette faveur à contre coeur car Aurore veut aussi participer à ce Concours
Jessie rescata a Aipom de una caída segura y a cambio le pide a Ash que se lo preste para usarlo en un Concurso Pokémon no oficial en donde competirá contra Dawn y Pachirisu.
旅を続けるサトシ一行は、通りがかった村のお祭りでポケモンコンテストが開かれる事を知って立ち寄ろうとする。ヒカリはゲットして間もないパチリスでぜひ挑戦しようと張り切っていた。ところが道中、遊んでいたエイパムが崖から落ちてしまった。絶体絶命のピンチからエイパムを救ったのは、なんとロケット団のムサシで･･･。
