Shake, Rattle and Roll (1)

This week on Play School we invite children to explore, discover and respond to sound and music in their homes and the natural environment as well as when they are out and about during the new five day series, Shake Rattle Roll. During this series the presenters make and explore all kinds of percussion with some of Australia's top percussionists as well as performing some favourite preschool songs. Presenters Michelle and Jay use kitchen utensils as percussion instruments to make music in the kitchen. They also make pies with eggs, zucchini, cheese and bread, and a starry picture using black paper and stencils. Plus, preschoolers will also see a percussion film where the percussion ensemble performs Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.
