Every living thing needs water to survive. This week in Play School we touch on some of the ways in which water affects our lives. These include: - Every day use of water in our homes and gardens - Use of water to drink and in cooking - Transformation of water into ice - Water in the environment - Animals and their dependence on water - Water for creative use and enjoyment in painting, swimming, sand and mud play. Presenters Stories Read and Told Wednesday - The Penguins' Playground written by the Play School team. Enjoy eating the ice blocks when you're hot. Make an adventure playground for your toys. Give them a ride in a laundry basket. They could ride over a mountain of cushions and slide down the other side. Take them through the adventure tunnel under the table, which is covered with a blanket. Give your toys a giant swing in the basket. Go on an outing to a playground in a park, have fun climbing and riding on the equipment.
