Piccadilly Palace was produced in England by Lew Grade's ATV network. It was videotaped in color for its US broadcasts on ABC-TV, as a summer replacement for The Hollywood Palace. The first eleven shows were hosted by Morecambe and Wise, with Millicent Martin as a regular cast member. Millicent Martin took over as host for the final four Piccadilly Palace shows. (Morecambe and Wise were not on the last four shows.) Bruce Forsyth was a regular cast member on three of the final shows. The episodes hosted by Morecambe and Wise were transmitted in b/w in the UK as The Morecambe & Wise Show (from 1 October 1967 through 31 March 1968). In the UK, only the shows hosted by Millicent Martin were titled Piccadilly Palace.
