“If you had told me when I was 16 years old that someone would throw me the keys to their works Lightweight Le Mans Jaguar C-Type, I would have told you that you were absolutely crazy…but that’s exactly what happened,” says David Swig, an RM Sotheby’s car specialist. This 1953 Jaguar C-Type Works finished fourth overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1953, and is the second of only three “Works Lightweight” cars built by Jaguar.
