'퍼스트 닥터'는 사명감 넘치는 의사 허지완이 전공의 시절 모종의 사건으로 자신의 의지와 상관없이 떠났던 지방 소재 연희대학교 소아과장에 금의환향하면서 벌어지는 일들을 담은 휴먼 메디컬 드라마. 인구 감소로 폐과위기에 처한 소아외과의 열악한 상황과 인생 첫 의사를 만나는 어린이 환자, 그 가족들의 이야기들이 따뜻하게 담겨질 예정이다.
