After losing 999 games in a row, Charlie Brown's baseball team threatens to quit and spend the summer like normal kids (swimming, skateboarding, and jumping rope) until he announces that Hennessey's Hardware store will sponsor them, meaning they can get uniforms and play in a real league - but only if he'll take the girls and Snoopy off the team.
With the school year coming to an end, Charlie Brown tries to meet his dream girl, whom he only knows as "The Little Red Haired Girl". But his nervousness prevents him to go meet her upfront and all his attempts to impress her fail. His friends try to give him a helping hand, but things only get worse...
The gang from "Peanuts" star in their first full-length animated film, which features now-iconic scenes such as Lucy tricking Charlie Brown by pulling away the football he's about to kick. Other memorable scenes include Snoopy ice-skating with abandon in Central Park, Linus losing his security blanket and Charlie Brown competing in the National Spelling Bee.
While researching a report on Arbor Day, Sally enlists the gang to turn Charlie Brown's ball field into a garden and orchard, complete with a tree on the pitcher's mound and scarecrow in the outfield. During the first game of the season against Peppermint Patty's team, the plants turn out to be an unexpected advantage.
The Peanuts gang, including Snoopy and Woodstock, have gone off to summer camp. After a few days of the usual summer-camp activities, they all take part in a rafting race. Battling treacherous rapids, wild animals, and bullies from a rival camp, the teams make their way downriver to the finish line.
Charlie Brown, Linus, Peppermint Patty and Marcie travel to France as foreign exchange students. Also along is Snoopy and Woodstock. While everyone is excited about the opportunity to travel to a foreign country, Charlie is disturbed by a letter he receives from a mysterious girl from France who invites him as a her guest only to find that he does not seem welcomed to her Chateau.
The second one-hour special, with stories adapted directly from newspaper comic strips. We can see Charlie Brown having strange visions, running from the EPA and being elected president of summer camp, Peppermint Patty and Marcie becoming golf caddies, Lucy determined to get rid from Linus' blanket and more.
As they begin their journey home from their student exchange term in France, the Peanuts gang find themselves sidetracked and with car problems. They then pass by the memorials of some battlesites in both World Wars. Linus talks about their importance and the sacrifices required of the troops who fought them.
Linus is smitten by a new girl who comes to the neighbourhood school. But she develops the symptoms of leukemia and must go to the hospital for cancer treatment. Linus and Charlie Brown help her through the traumas of chemotherapy as best as they can while Snoopy plays at being the world's greatest doctor.
The special follows the spring training of Charlie Brown's baseball team, which is having problems. A child named Leland joins the team. Lucy points out that they are the only team without uniforms, so Charlie Brown and his team train hard for the first game of the season. Thanks to Leland, Charlie Brown's team wins, 27 to 26, therefore getting their uniforms (A recycled plotline is that Leland is so short the other team's pitcher either constantly walks him or beans him in his batting helmet). However, the team loses their next game because Leland has to quit because their new uniforms are too big for him, with Charlie Brown saying at the end, "It's not how you look, it's how you play the game."
It's the Pied Piper, Charlie Brown is a retelling of the story how the Pied Piper of Hamelin (portrayed by Snoopy) chased away all the mice from the town of Hamlet. The Peanuts kids substitute some characters, Snoopy being the Pied Piper. Snoopy plays concertina (squeezebox), with presumably David Benoit doing the honors. (Snoopy played accordion too a few times in the comic back in the early comics.)
An hour-long special. It centers on ReRun, Linus and Lucy's younger brother. It's Christmas vacation and, as usual, ReRun's big sister is stressing him out, so he decides to turn to his best friend, Snoopy, for amusement and holiday cheer. However, Snoopy has plans of his own, giving ReRun reason to ask Snoopy to invite his brother Spike for a visit. When Spike shows up, it looks like ReRun will have a dog for Christmas after all... but then the real trouble begins.
The Peanuts gang is at summer camp, and Rerun has brought his marbles. Unfortunately, a talented bully takes advantage of Rerun and "teaches" him to play marbles, and takes all of them, including his grandfather's shooter, because he "won" them. Now it's up to Charlie Brown to win back Rerun's marbles.
Linus is pushed to his limits when he learns his Grandma is coming to visit and plans on ridding him of his childish security blanket. As Grandma's arrival looms closer the Peanuts gang tries to help Linus cope without his fuzzy crutch. Lucy is particular eager to help cure Linus' dependency using her own psychiatric techniques, and while Charlie Brown tries to help he doesn't have the heart to see Linus suffer. All the while Snoopy is constantly agitating the matter because he wants the blanket for himself.
As they train for the school golf championship, Marcie assists Peppermint Patty as her caddie, offering thoughtful and deliberate advice to help her win. Meanwhile, after coming up with brilliant solutions to her classmates’ problems — from hallway traffic jams to lunchtime pizza shortages — Marcie is unexpectedly elected as class president … a role she never wanted.
