La famille Ostiguy gère depuis trois générations le seul salon funéraire de son village. Paulette, matriarche aimante et contrôlante, doit repousser sa retraite pour préparer ses fils à prendre la relève. Daniel, expert en dépouilles mais sans talent social, et Luc, ex-hockeyeur ruiné au grand charisme mais désintéressé, devront collaborer, aidés par Estelle, la fleuriste ésotérique, et Camille, la stagiaire motivée. Un bouleversement chamboulera leur quotidien.
