Lulu is unable to have a picnic because of the bad weather. Despite the warnings from Mamsie, the little girl heads for an old house outside of town, one that is rumored to be haunted. But Mamsie's fears are true- the old house is haunted by two ghosts. But the two ghosts aren't mean or scary- they're just hungry. When Lulu eats all of her picnic lunch, the ghosts realize the food is gone and cry unhappily. Feeling sorry for the two sprits, Lulu takes them home and feeds them, much to the displeasure of Mamsie.
