Четверо друзів живуть в одному дворі столичної багатоповерхівки. Крім чисто чоловічих інтересів, їх об'єднує важлива тема - виховання дітей. Один з героїв тільки готується стати батьком, інший виховує 7-річного сина, а третій - сина і двох дочок різного віку. Герої шалено люблять своїх дітей, пишаються їхніми успіхами і активно беруть участь в їх вихованні.
