Pamela embarks on a massive expansion of her cherished rose and vegetable garden that will see it grow to 15,000 square feet - the size of a city block! Her assistant Jonathan is put in charge of the project and is under pressure to deliver the garden of Pamela’s dreams in time for planting season. Jonathan’s stress increases when fencing jeopardizes some of Pamela’s beloved trees and the site plans are off the mark, delaying construction. While the work continues, Pamela, her mother Carol, and son Brandon visit some of the most beautiful gardens on Vancouver Island searching for inspiration.
Der Garten soll das Herzstück von Arcady werden und Pamelas Zufluchtsort in ihrem neuen Zuhause. Da Pamela mit der Gartengestaltung im vorigen Jahr nicht zufrieden war, soll jetzt alles neu und ganz nach ihrem Willen gemacht werden. Allen voran setzt sie auf mehr Gemüse und noch mehr Rosen, ihre Lieblingsblumen. Der Gemüsegarten soll auf ganze 1.400 Quadratmeter vergrößert werden, außerdem sollen ein Gewächshaus, eine Laube und ein Sitzbereich entstehen. Damit diesmal alles nach Plan läuft, engagiert Pamela einen Landschaftsarchitekt und einen Grundstücksverwalter, der darauf achtet, dass alles nach Pamelas Wünschen verläuft.
