When Ozzie and Harriet promise the same room to two college girls, the girls decide to share it. After Ozzie becomes concerned about renting them the room, he decides to speak with the girls, but discovers they have the same things in mind.
The girls bring their dates home for dinner.
Susie and Brenda are curious about a full formal silver service that is gathering dust in a kitchen cupboard, and Ozzie tells how it was given to Harriet and himself many years ago and never used. It inspires him to finally do so and Has Harriet and the girls polish it up for an elegant dinner, and wear evening clothes, befitting an important occasion.
When his tuxedo pants are too tight, Ozzie goes on a diet so he cann attend an affair. Harriet and the girls want to help him, unaware that he has plans to cheat as well.
Susie has been nominated to run for vice president of her class, but she doesn't want the job. Like most campaigns, it gets dirty.
