'오얏꽃 향기'는 동명의 장편 소설을 원작으로 한 사극으로 그동안 한 번도 다루어지지 않았던 조선의 향방 문화를 재조명해 자존감 높았던 향방나인의 모든 것을 다채롭게 그린 작품이다. 향방나인은 임금의 용안과 왕비의 얼굴을 만지는 왕실의 최측근이자 궁궐 내 1급 정보를 가장 많이 알고 있는 조선의 비선실세다. 한 마디로 '궁궐의 숨은 손', '조선의 퀸 메이커' 이야기다.
