往生際の意味を知れ!

主人公は、国民的エッセイ「星の三姉妹」の著者・日下部由紀（演：山本未來）を母に持つ、謎多き美女・日下部日和（演：見上愛）と、7年前に別れた元カノ・日和のことが忘れられず、元カノ教の敬虔な信徒と化していた、サラリーマン・市松海路（演：青木柚）。 “元カノと結婚したい”と公言し、7年経った今でも日和との写真や映像を視聴することで自我を保っていた海路だったが、ある日落雷により自宅が全焼。思い出は灰となり、すべてを失った海路は自殺を試みるが…まさにそのとき！日和から電話が来ることで、人生が大きく変わりー!?
