The fight in Marineford still rages on, as Trafalgar Law arrives to rescue Luffy. Sengoku still fights Blackbeard, while Akainu fights the commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates. Even though the Marines clearly won the war, they still fight, and while many die around Coby, the "voices" continue to fade away from his mind. For a few moments he bravely stops the war, and as he's about to be killed by Akainu, Shanks arrives, claiming that those "seconds of courage have changed the fate of the world".
Garp si unisce a Sengoku nel combattimento contro Barbanera. Nel frattempo, gli scontri fra i marine ed i pirati continuano senza accennare a fermarsi e Bagy decide di affidare Rufy e Jinbe a Trafalgar Law. Kobi, intanto, continua a sentire le voci nella sua testa e, disperato per il massacro che si sta svolgendo, corre verso Akainu e gli si para davanti gridando a tutti di fermare l'inutile spargimento di sangue. Akainu cerca di uccidere anche lui, ma il suo colpo viene bloccato da Shanks, appena arrivato. In mezzo allo stupore generale per la sua apparizione, l'imperatore afferma di essere giunto fin lì per porre fine alla guerra.
La batalla en Marineford continua, aunque claramente ya hay un bando vencedor. Trafalgar Law ha llegado con la intención de rescatar a Luffy, Sengoku continua su lucha con Kurohige mientras que Akainu ahora lucha contra los comandantes de Shirohige. Coby no logra entender como es posible que la guerra continue y sigan muriendo hombres en ambos bandos, por lo que decide detener la guerra interponiéndose entre Akainu y los piratas de Shirohige.
