ヒロシ、サトル、ススム、タケオ、ヤスコは、コンピューターの腕前、手裏剣の達人、勉強やスポーツの腕前など、才能の異なる5人のユニークな子供たちです。 このグループのリーダーであるヒロシは、架空のキャラクターである幻の麻天狼を自分のコンピューターで作成します。 5人の子供がこのファントムについてのビデオを撮影し、学校で再生すると、小さな問題が発生します。 その夜、ヒロシが自分の大切なコンピューターがなくなったことに気づいたとき、本物の麻天狼が彼と彼の友人たちの前に現れ、「コンピューターを取り戻したいのなら、私の挑戦を受け入れてください」と言いました。 麻天狼を捕まえる部隊「ハードグミ」。
