EPISODE 31
For the sake of inheritance, Sudeha asks her younger sister Ghushma to marry her husband Sudharma, but after the birth of a child, Sudeha kills him. Lord Shiva steps in and revives the child, but Ghushma beseeches him not to punish Sudeha. For this act of kindness, Lord Shiva establishes the Ghushmeshwar Jyotirling with a boon that a visit to this shrine will rid the devotees of their chronic ailments.
EPISODE 32 Parvati, meanwhile, is adamant in her worship of Lord Shiva, despite the requests of the Saptrishis to the contrary. Queen Maina too wants Parvati to return, but King Himalaya dissuades her from forcing her. Scared of the adamant stance of Parvati, Tarkasur and the demons, which were conspiring to kill the Gods, flee Heaven.
EPISODE 33
Due to Parvati s adamant stance, the demons flee Heaven and thus Indra and Shachi ascend the throne. However, Narad is anxious about Parvati's persistence to win over Shiva and expresses this to Brahma. The Gods decide to leave for Himalaya palace to propose Shiva's marriage with Parvati. King Himalaya and Queen Maina too invoke the Lord who is in deep meditation. On his part, Tarkasur plans to kill Parvati.
EPISODE 34
Narad and Indra are worried about Shiva's whereabouts. The Lord had been angry at Kamdev's intercession on behalf of Parvati. Meanwhile, brothers Nar and Narayan are also in deep meditation to invoke Shiva. In order to break the penance, overanxious Indra assigns celestial beauties Rambha and Menaka to entice the brothers.
EPISODE 35
When Nar and Narayan learn about the real aim of Kambha and Menaka, infuriated Narayan produces an extremely sensuous girl Urvashi from his high to counter the two girls. Urvashi creates a spell and now Nar decides to punish Indra for the intrusion. However, on Narayan and Urvashi's behest, he desists from doing so. Lord Shiva, pleased at the devotion of Nar and Narayan, appears before them. He also grants Parvati's long-standing wish.
