  • S01E01 A Taste of Base

    Will Burks is professional freeskier, he is also a novice skydiver. Burks wants to take his skills to the next level and learn to BASE jump. Join him on a yearlong quest as he meets up with some of the finest BASE jumping, skydiving, and skiing athletes in the U.S. as NOMADS illuminates this fascinating, dangerous and still very young sport.

  • S01E02 Alaska Hains

    Haines Alaska, the wild west of heli-skiing, is the perfect location for this group of athletes to push the limits of their sport. X Games gold medalists Reggie Christ and brother Zach dominate skier X then head straight to Haines Alaska to experience the pinnacle of big mountain skiing. The trip is a long overdue reunion with childhood friend and freeskiing icon Kent Kreitler. Down days ensue and Alaskan rookie, Jamie Pierre joins the team. The mountains are awe inspiring and the action is world class.

  • S01E03 Base Jumping The Alps

    This episode of Nomads will be led by base jumping icon Miles Dasher, on a cultural journey with ski-base pioneer, Eric Roner, all around air specialist, Carson Kline and BASE new-comer, Will Burks; for a base jumping expedition throughout Switzerland. Along the way, our athletes will explore the countryside by train while diving into the culture and quaint living of this region.

  • S01E04 BMX USA

    The Local Exposure Tour is to BMX riders what Willy Wonka's prize was to chocolate fans -THE GOLDEN TICKET. Local Exposure Tour (LET) will take fifteen of the world's top pro BMX riders around the Southwestern United States (it moves to a different region of the country each year) in search of the next young talent in the sport.

    On this episode of NOMADS some of the best paragliders in the world take advantage of the prevalent trade winds of the beautiful Canary Islands. Also featured is the new sport of speed-flying, a faster and more dangerous version of paragliding.

  • S01E06 Jackson Hole

    It's a way of life for a select few who have what it takes to live life of an action sports athlete. Nomads are those select few who travel the globe searching for the most perfect spots and toughest competitions and terrain to make their mark. Home to "The Big One" and the longest continuous vertical rise in the US, Jackson Hole is where the best skiers and snowboarders in the world arrive in search of great riding. Jackson Hole is known for its epic skiing and snowboarding. With three in the area and over 400 inches of powder each year, it's the perfect ski destination. Viewers join daredevil mountain skiing nomads including Shroder Baker and Jason Tattersal who take to the famous Jackson Hole.

  • S01E07 Kitesurfing Tahiti

    This episode of NOMADS will follow world renowned surf photographer and aspiring filmmaker John Bilderback to Tahiti for the 2nd stop on the production of his up-coming kitesurfing film LINES. The Nomads crew will join John, his wife Alexis and 3 of the worlds top kitesurfers on a 10-day boat trip while they rediscover the roots of surfing through the fresh new frontier of big wave riding- kitesurfing. John Bilderback has seen the rise of surfing as it became a corporate commodity with overcrowded beaches and harsh rivalries. Johns mission is to look back at the way it once was and kitesurfing has given him that opportunity.

  • S01E08 Mountain Bike Freeride BC

    The steep trails and dirt ramps of British Columbia lure freestyle mountainbikers from all over the world. The crew at Freeride Entertainment/New World Disorder journey there to capture the speed and big tricks for their big mountainbike movie, Unchained. In the splendor of clay canyons and lush woods, Alex ""Axel"" Fostvedt and action sports photographer Blake Jorgenson search for the ultimate shot. With a cast of athletes that's the best of the best, NOMADS has to go behind the scenes for this one-of-a-kind film shoot.

  • S01E09 Racing The Alps

    This NOMADS episode will follow Team Cannondale as they journey through the mountains of France, driving from village to village on a road trip that hits it's apex at the Free Raid Classic event in Les Duex Alpes. Join Mick Hannah, Amir Kabbani, Carlo Dieckmann, and Hannah Steffens, as they tour france and shred several downhill, and freestyle competitions.

    This episode of Nomads will feature a journey by legendary big mountain skiers Will Burks, Kina Pickett, Bryce Phillips and Billy Poole to the "Land Of The Rising Sun" in search of an exotic skiing experience in the Japanese Alps. Along the way, our athletes will become immersed in the unique beauty, fascinating culture and warm, friendly people of this region.

  • S01E11 Wakeboarding Pros

    This episode of Nomads captures a hectic but typical week in the lives of 2 of the worlds top professional wakeboarders. Two-time world champion, Andrew Adkison, and powerhouse newcomer, Corey Bradley. Whether its competing, riding in sponsored events, filming stunts for movies, or just free riding with their friends, these athletes are constantly on the road doing what it takes to stay on top and live out their dreams. In the last two weeks of the professional wakeboard season, Andrew and Corey cram in as much competition, media exposure, and fun as they can. Well follow these athletes and their comrades through Orlandos double up competition, several film shoots, stunt riding, and a wakeboard expo before culminating with the seminal wakeboard event of the year: BoardStock.

    In this episode of NOMADS, pilot Mike Castillo takes a one of a kind surf vessel, the Billabong Clipper, down the Baja coastline in search of ultimate waves bringing with him professional surfers-Shane Dorian, Andy Irons, Dave Rastovich and others.

    This episode of Nomads goes south to the far reaches of Chile's lush landscape in search of the most challenging white water and the largest waterfall drops in and around the area of Pucin. Our crew of Nomads is in for the adventure of a lifetime.

  • S01E15 Kayaking In New Zealand

    This episode takes viewers inside the lives of the kayaking Nomads as we join them on their venture to the south islands of New Zealand. New Zealand's awesome landscapes, lush forests, amazing wildlife and pleasant climate make it a haven for many outdoor activities; it is an area that is known as one of the world's premier river running areas and has become a very popular destination for keen kayakers. This beautiful nature wonderland is all captured on HD. Join Trent Garnham, who is one of the best white water riders in the world as he and other top athletes meet up with kiwi locals as they explore and push the limits in their kayaks.

  • S01E16 Motocross Madness

    his episode of Nomads follows freestyle motocross riders, Adam Jones and Mike Mason around Salt Lake City, Utah during a week of diversion leading up to the fourth stop on the Dew Action Sports Tour. Adam and Mike are joined by other Team Ogio athletes as they are directed and encouraged by team manager Andy Bell to enhance their riding skills and blow off some steam before the all important competition. Compliments of Bell the boys are treated to a bout of speed car racing, and feel a little outside their comfort zones. Later, they pay a heartfelt visit to a community who lost nine people to a mining accident .

    The American state of Utah is a place of infamy in the mountain biking world. As bike technology has rapidly advanced the ability to go bigger and faster, so have the leaders of this sport searching for new venues to expand the views for what is possible on a bicycle. Chris Van Dine, a biker who has been on the forefront of mountain biking for years, has gathered friends and teammates to search out a new spot to ride, in the vast expanse that is the Utah desert.

  • S01E19 Windsurfing Hawaii

    This episode of Nomads will document renowned action sports filmmaker Johnny Decesare and his crew as they put the finishing touches on their groundbreaking action sports film, "The Windsurfing Movie". A Nomads crew will join the production on the island of Maui, as Johnny and company attempt to negotiate the final and most technically demanding shoot of the movie, a big wave riding sequence shot from helicopters.

  • S01E20 Mountain Bike Las Vegas

    Four teen guys. Las Vegas. Trouble? Only if they came for the casinos. But in the rugged desert around the city, there's more action than in any air-conditioned hotel. Who's man enough to take on the bright lights? Jamie Goldman, Greg Watts, Cam McCaul and Jeremy Teman might be kids off their bikes, but in the saddle, they're veterans. NOMADS follows mountainbiking photojournalist Kathy Sessler as she put this trip to tape for an extreme biking video.

    Tucked into Alaska's Chugach Range, Valdez is a snow sport dream. Only a few of the surrounding mountains even have names, let alone first tracks. The best powder is on the most secluded peaks, far from the crowds. These peaks can only be reached if you dare to fly. NOMADS follows pro skier Shroder "Shrode" Baker as face this challenge that buries even the best for the first time.
