Noah seems to think that Wade may not be totally straight after he accepts an invitation to hang out with Noah at a gay club. Alex learns that his boyfriend Trey has a secret sex life when he stumbles upon a gay Internet site Trey frequents. Meanwhile, Chance has second thoughts about moving in with Eddie.
When Noah begins neglecting his friends in favor of Wade, he tries to bring the two sides together at Sunday brunch. But Wade's ignorance of all things gay shines through, as does his jealousy over Noah and Ricky's physical closeness. Ricky hires a cute new store clerk but grows angry when the new employee doesn't acknowledge him. Meanwhile, Chance suspects Eddie of cheating.
Alex shocks his friends by deciding to sign up for an amateur drag competition. But he gets cold feet before going up on stage. Noah wants to meet Wade's straight friends but he feels uncomfortable by Wade's attempts to change his appearance. Ricky tries to prove to his friends that he isn't addicted to sex. Chance tries to get over Eddie but is consoled by a stranger.
Noah has to sell his car in order to raise money to pay his rent. When Wade offers to pay the rent for him, Noah declines. In an effort to cheer him up, Wade throws an impromptu surprise birthday party for Noah. Chance goes to great lenghts to salvage his relationship. Meanwhile, Noah faces a dilemma when Brandy, the Paramount executive whom Noah once had an aborted threesome with Wade, wants him to edit a script by Wade. Meanwhile, Alex comes to a major decision about his career when he leaves his job at the HIV/AIDS clinic.
Noah helps Wade's professional confidence by suggesting that he co-write an action script with him. While confronting a personal crisis, Ricky believes he is falling in love with Junito. Alex attempts to win Trey back by joining marriage counseling. Meanwhile, Chance makes a decision regarding his relationship with Eddie.
As the tension between Noah and Wade escalates, a handsome stranger threatens to rip them apart. Meanwhile, Chance and Eddie have their wedding but the affair isn't a pleasant one. Alex misreads his relationship with Trey and learns that his man is leaving for Africa for six months. Meanwhile, Ricky tries desperately to forget about Junito.
Noah still has strong feelings for Wade which he cannot deny. These are confirmed when they have yet another unexpected encounter. Noah and his friends are moving in and fixing up Noah’s new place and the furniture delivery man turns out to be none other than Wade. Noah tries to apologize but Wade won’t bend. Chance and Eddie continue to slightly bump heads with regards to Kenya, while Alex and Trey finally start to pick up where they left off. Ricky meets up with Junito once again and is forced to deal with his feelings for him.
Noah has been invited to join Dre and Wade for dinner, which rekindles creative sparks in Noah and Wade, while Dre's friend shows an interest in Noah. Meanwhile, Chance and Eddie host dinner for Eddie's bosses and their wives, and Chance happens upon an interesting coupling. Ricky continues to have thoughts about his new relationship with Junito. Alex's suspicions of Guy's friendship with Trey continue to grow.
Tempers and emotions flare as the guys rush to Noah's side after receiving the news of Noah's gay bash. Quincy initiates a new crusade, Alex learns to defend himself and Chance steps up to the plate for Eddie. Meanwhile, Ricky becomes Noah's caregiver and realizes the meaning of mortality. Dre opens his eyes as Wade takes matters into his own hands and finds himself at square one.
