Deep in the mountains of Mie Prefecture, there is a paradise that one ceramic artist dedicated 35 years of his life to creating. "The Rainbow's Spring" is 5,600 square meters, and everything in it is a ceramic work of art. "no art, no life" introduces artists from across Japan for whom expression is not a choice, but a compulsion. Not influenced by existing art or trends, nor by education, these artists and their works are gaining worldwide recognition. Devoted to creation, not for anyone else or even for themselves, they have a powerful presence. This episode attempts to capture the unique form of expression of the ceramic artist Kenji Azuma, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 75.
