The inaugural episode of Nitro Circus explodes at Travis Pastrana’s Maryland compound, where the cast takes one-upmanship to spectacular new heights. From Travis’s chute-less jump from an airplane to nemesis Andy Bell’s record-setting big wheel back flip, this crew rejects all boundaries while reinventing action sports, one episode at a time.
Back home in the Maryland compound, Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus crew break out some toys of all shapes and horsepower to create new stunts and sports. From racing big wheels downhill to launching pit bikes off trampolines to attempting the first ever back flip in a monster truck, they drive, jump, and crash everything they can get their hands on.
For the Nitro Circus crew there is zero down time in Sin City. When they’re not launching motorcycles 100-feet plus in the desert or heaving themselves off a 52-story casino on the Strip, they’re thinking of other ways to wreak some good old fashion havoc. And it’s not just their own lives they’re gambling with; the cast goes big with T.J. Lavin and brings Bam Margera to tears.

The crew head back to the Utah birthplace of Nitro Circus, using the familiar rugged terrain to ride, race and wreck everything they can get their hands on. They redefine the ancient Roman chariot race with a new kind of horse-power. Then they handcraft their own motor homes to race on a figure-eight track and Streetbike Tommy crashes a Rock Crawler. Basically the cast creates some homecoming mayhem, Nitro-style.
Longtime friend and pro FMX rider, Ronnie Renner, invites the Nitro crew to his California ranch, where newfound friend and show producer, Johnny Knoxville, is waiting to play a little bull croquet. In between all the madness, the cast find time to drop in on their friend, Rob Dyrdek, at his fantasy factory. After the factory, the cast get back to what they do best: a spectacular chaos crossover involving five motorcycles, a cab, a mountain bike, and a high-powered trophy truck.
The Nitro crew team up with the Guinness Book of World Records to either crush existing records or make their own. From Jolene Van Vugt’s motorcycle back flip to Streetbike Tommy’s distance attempt on a lawnmower to Jim De Champ’s sport-changing front flip on a motorcycle, the Circus goes big to set a mind-blowing number of Guinness World Records.
The Nitro crew find themselves in the heart of Hollywood with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stunt double. Their first feat: riding inside a massive steel ball of death and attempting to back flip over it. They then meet up with friend Johnny Knoxville, and convince him to get back on a bike for the first time since Travis broke his penis. In true Nitro style, they proceed to terrorize another Jackass star, Steve-O, who discovers he is deathly afraid of motorcycles. They also meet up with acting icon, Gary Coleman, who joins them in a heart-stopping action sequence that’s sure to end in disaster.
The Nitro crew crank up the heat in Panama as they turn this tropical paradise into their own extreme play land. Travis, Roner, and Scott Palmer hurl themselves off a construction crane perched atop the tallest building in Central America. Back at the hotel, Travis and Jim hydro-skim a motorcycle across a crowded pool. Then it’s deep into the jungles of Panama where the Nitro crew brings motocross to a group of young native villagers. Panamania breaks out when the crew put an inflatable blob in the Panama Canal and use it to rocket Jolene to ear-popping heights. Fill it up again!
Travis heads back to his Puerto Rican roots to meet up with motocross legend and mentor, Gary Bailey. While there, the Nitro Crew embrace the island’s diverse landscape when they go for a Caribbean surf session and hit a dirt track set in the dense tropical jungle with their friend and motocross rider, Tara Geiger. Jim tries a two-wheel stunt that goes terribly wrong for another cast member while Jolene, Jeremy, and Tommy find themselves in a dance battle with the competitors of America’s Best Dance Crew.
It’s a Nitro-style winter wonderland, as three Circus cast members make a trip to the hospital! DC Shoes owner Ken Block, invites the crew to come out and play at his DC Mountain Lab in Utah. Whether they’re leaping out of helicopters on inner tubes, launching themselves across a semi-frozen pond in animal costumes with pro BMX legend, TJ Laven, or flipping snowmobiles over a seventy-five foot gap with X Games gold medalist, Heath Frisby, the action is as extreme as the weather.
