Meanwhile, in the arctic rescue scenario, Dan accidentally fires a flare-gun at a small plane signalling to him; the pilot in the plane is injured (both hands broken) and thus cannot perform a critical operation. Because of that, Dan becomes the only person available who can operate on a young Eskimo woman suffering from appendicitis.
With Judge Stone out of town, Judge Wilbur fills in. Bull is trying to raise money for his kids @ the rec hall. In a case, Mr. Van Doren & Mr. Stempel each claim that they had the correct answer to a game show question. But Bull had the right answer. The game show host was impressed that he invites Bull to be on his game show, "What Am I?". But Bull gets nervous over pressure, so Dan tries hypnotic suggestion that actually works. He quips he'd want to see Judge Wilber stuffed in a mail chute. Minutes later, they find Bull hypnotized, carrying Judge Wilbur with her. She gets wise & sends Dan to jail! In the jail area, the gang reads the hypnotics book trying to hypnotise Bull. Christine mentions that when he hears a certain word or phrase, Bull will be completely calm. Dan sees a sexy female baliff & says "I Want To Be Your Love Slave!". They were disgusted that Dan gave him a profane phrase. Bull is now on the game show, competing against two other contestants. Christine comes back from having her baby and has to deal with the shadow of her replacement, good 'ole Ted. Harry tries to avoid the tutor arranged to help him pass a crucial high school history test. Meanwhile Dan's sister comes to visit, and Dan asks Bull to take her out to see the sights of New York, unaware that his baby sister is a chip off the old Fielding block.
Meanwhile, Dan is dealing with the fallout of this situation—especially given the familial ties and how it affects his relationship with his sister and with Bull. The episode plays on the awkward dynamics between friendship, family, and workplace connection, while maintaining the comedic tone the series is known for.
