A murderer has been leaving behind women's heads in the park bathroom with styled hair caked in blood. Because of Yako's concern and Akane's understanding of the slaughtered "hair," Yako asks Neuro to solve this mystery. However, as he does not sense a puzzle in this one, he replies that Yako & Akane should solve the mystery by themselves if they want it so much, remarking that it would be a good opportunity for Yako to "evolve." By fusing Akane with Yako, the latter gains beautiful hair with which she can lure the culprit. After learning from Ishigaki & Sasazuka the identity of the current suspect (the owner of a popular Hair Salon with a criminal record name), she goes to confront him by herself as Neuro is investigating the scene of the crime. As he finds her, the hair stylist is mesmerized by Akane and asks Yako to go to his apartment. As they arrive, he accuses her of knowing his true identity and restrains both her and Akane so as to slice her head off and style her head. Before Yako can be harmed, however, Neuro arrives and rescues her as he eats the culprit's mystery with Akane's help. As he leaves the apartment Neuro points out his disappointment at Yako not being able to evolve.
髪のきれいな女性を殺害して頭部を切断し、髪をセットして放置するという事件が３件連続して発生した。その猟奇的な手口から、犯人に付けられたあだ名は “噛み切り美容師”。事件のあまりの悲惨さに怒るあかねと弥子を見たネウロは、あかねを弥子の頭に合体させ、２人でオトリ捜査をするよう命じた。
さっそく情報収集を始めた弥子が目を付けたのは、百舌貴泰というカリスマ美容師。笹塚と石垣の情報によると、以前、若い女性に暴行し無理矢理髪をセットした百舌が、今回の事件の容疑者の１人になっていた。だが、百舌にアリバイがあったため、捜査対象者からは外されていたのだ。
弥子は、すぐに百舌に接近。あかねを使っての艶やかな髪を見せた結果、ついにその部屋に入り込むことに成功。百舌の部屋には、一般家庭ではありえない巨大な冷蔵庫があった。
その冷蔵庫に近付く弥子の髪を手にとって匂いを嗅ぎ、頬ずりして恍惚の表情を見せる百舌。ついに正体を現した百舌は、抵抗する弥子を散髪台の椅子に縛り付け、なおも動き回るあかねを超強力なハードワックスで固定した。そして、弥子の首筋にハサミを近づけた。
その時、登場したのはネウロだった。被害者の頭部が放置された公園のトイレを調べて、トリックを見破ったネウロは、事件とは無関係だと主張する百舌のアリバイ崩しを始める。開き直った百舌が弥子を殺そうとするのを見たネウロは、ハードワックスを粉砕してあかねを自由にし、反撃するよう命じて――。
Un asesino ha estado dejando las cabezas de las mujeres en el baño del parque con el cabello peinado y empapado en sangre. Debido a la preocupación de Yako y la comprensión de Akane del "pelo" sacrificado, Yako le pide a Neuro que resuelva este misterio. Sin embargo, como no siente un rompecabezas en este, responde que Yako y Akane deberían resolver el misterio por sí mismos si lo desean tanto, señalando que sería una buena oportunidad para que Yako "evolucione". Al fusionar a Akane con Yako, esta última gana un cabello hermoso con el que puede atraer al culpable. Después de conocer de Ishigaki y Sasazuka la identidad del sospechoso actual (el dueño de una peluquería popular con un nombre de registro criminal), ella se enfrenta a él solo cuando Neuro está investigando la escena del crimen. Cuando la encuentra, Akane le hipnotiza al peluquero y le pide a Yako que vaya a su apartamento. A medida que llegan, la acusa de conocer su verdadera identidad y restringe tanto a ella como a Akane para cortarle la cabeza y peinarla. Antes de que Yako pueda ser perjudicada, sin embargo, Neuro llega y la rescata mientras come el misterio del culpable con la ayuda de Akane. Al salir del apartamento, Neuro señala su decepción por el hecho de que Yako no haya podido evolucionar.
