TegaSword is a cosmic entity that defeated the Calamity (Yakusai) in a conflict against the 49 Super Sentai, whose powers were then sealed in magical rings called SentaiRings, scattered throughout the universe. According to legend, these rings grant the wishes of their wielder. Now, the Buraidan, an evil organization from the No One World, seek their possession, while warriors from the past reappear to regain their lost power. To prevent further catastrophe, TegaSword chooses five misfits to form the final Super Sentai: the No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger.

TegaSword est une entité cosmique ayant vaincu la Calamité (Yakusai) lors d'un conflit contre les 49 Super Sentai, dont les pouvoirs furent ensuite scellés dans des anneaux magiques appelés SentaiRings, dispersés dans l'univers. Selon la légende, ces anneaux exaucent les souhaits de leur détenteur. Aujourd'hui, les Buraidan, organisation maléfique issue du No One World, cherchent à s'en emparer, tandis que des guerriers du passé réapparaissent pour retrouver leur puissance perdue. Pour éviter une nouvelle catastrophe, TegaSword choisit cinq marginaux pour former le dernier Super Sentai : le N°1 Sentai Gozyuger.
«Вселенская война» была масштабным конфликтом, в котором участвовали гиганты из разных вселенных, сражаясь с угрозой, известной как «Бедствие». На грани поражения появился ТегаМеч, и гиганты предложили свои силы, создав «Кольца Битвы», которые уничтожили Бедствие, но также спровоцировали разрушение, разбросав кольца по всему космосу. Некоторое время спустя, пятерым изгоям общества предоставляется шанс изменить свою жизнь, когда ТегаМеч выбирает их для превращения в Гозюгеров, которым поручено собрать Кольца Сентай. Тот, кто соберет все кольца, получит исполнение своего желания. Это начинает соревнование не только между ними, но и с Бриданом из Мира Неодного, а также с другими людьми, также избранными для исполнения своего желания, называемыми «Воинами Вселенной».
