Doch alles kommt anders: Auf dem Heimweg will er kurz tanken, gerät aber an der Zapfsäule mit einem anderen Autofahrer derart in Streit, dass nur noch die Polizei schlichten kann. Zu Hause angekommen, überrascht ihn Janet damit, ins "Tokahana" gehen zu wollen. Dort trifft er auch noch den Autofahrer von der Tankstelle, der zu ihnen an den Tisch platziert wird ...
Michael gets to the gas station and has to wait forever for the guy in front of him to move on. Irritated, he gets home to watch the Michael Jordan game on TV, but Jay says they're going out for family dinner at Tokahana's, an overpriced Japanese place. When they get there, the problems start before they even get inside. The valet charges 7 dollars to park their car – a rip-off according to Michael. Jay has to give the man 10 dollars so they can finally enter the restaurant. Once there, they have to wait forever at the bar, where they are forced to buy drinks. Tired of waiting, Michael goes to check what's taking so long for their table, and the hostess makes them wait a little longer. Michael even pushes Kady into the fish pond, hoping that will make Jay want to go home, but no. Instead, she buys a 60 dollar sweatshirt for the girl. They finally get in, and who's at their table? The same guy from the gas station and his family!

Michael começa o dia mal ao se estressar com um chato em um posto de gasolina. Os dois quase saem no braço, e Michael aproveita par dizer a mulher que deu uma surra no cara! Jay quer jantar fora,mas o marido não quer abrir mão de um jogo de basquete na TV, e também não está afim de gastar dinheiro. Mesmo assim ele acaba sendo convencido por Jay a ir com sua família a um restaurante japonês. No restaurante, michael sente-se contrariado com tudo o que acontece, e as coisas pioram ainda mais quando eles são obrigados a se sentar com a irritante família dos Parkers. Trata-se da família do sujeito com quem Michael discutiu no posto de gasolina.
