My Life Me

Die 13 jährige Birch geht mit ihren 14 jährigen Freunden Sandra, Ricki und Liam auf die Cosmos Highschool. Dort müssen die Schüler ihrer Lerngemeinschaft helfen. Dafür erstellen die vier eine Gruppe, die dort als „Quart“ bezeichnet wird. Nach dem Unterricht müssen aber auch Hausaufgaben oder Projektvorbereitungen gemeinsam bewältigt werden. Birch ist eine sehr talentierte Malerin und liebevoll. Sandra ist die beste Skaterin an der Schule und versucht Birch zu ärgern, sobald sie die Möglichkeit dazu hat. Ricki ist der mit Abstand coolste Junge der Schule und alle Mädels „fliegen“ ihn hinterher. Liam ist Birchs Cousin und bildet sich nur ein, Cool zu sein … (Text: A. Schreiber)

Two’s company and three’s a crowd, but in My Life Me four is a formula for comedic catastrophe as Birch Small attempts to fit in with Liam, Sandra and Raffi at Cosmos Jr.High (A cooperative junior high school). They fumble with teen angst and their identities as they navigate new social terrain and try to learn who they are. Add in the friction that comes with relationships forged out of necessity and there’s a perfectly taut environment ready to crack…into peals of laughter.

Ce dessin animé raconte les tribulations de quatre jeunes ados, Béa, Sandra, Raffi et Liam, qui ne se sont pas choisis comme amis, mais qui sont obligés de travailler ensemble dans leur lycée. (Néanmois Béa et Liam sont cousin et cousine)
