มือปราบข่าวสารเสก สณฑ์ มือปราบหนุ่ม นิสัยดี ที่มีความสามารถพิเศษติดตัวมาตั้งแต่เกิด จนทำให้เขาต้องถูกฝากไว้กับหลวงตาตั้งแต่เด็ก และใช้ความสามารถนี้ในการช่วยเหลือคนและผี จนวันหนึ่งเขาไปโชว์ปราบผีช่วยเหลือชีวิตตัวประกัน จากการถูกโจรที่ถูกผีเข้าสิงได้สำเร็จ แต่ก็ไม่วายถูกกล่าวหาว่าทำให้ภาพลักษณ์ตำรวจเสียหาย โดนออกใบสั่งให้เขาไปพบจิตแพทย์ แต่การเจอกันครั้งแรกของหนุ่มปากหมาเป็นเลิศกับจิตแพทย์สาวปากดี ไม่ถูกชะตากันเข้าอย่างจัง
