The circus has come to town. Musti and Daddy decide to take a closer look. The ringmaster shows them around. To their surprise, they see that Bongo the chimp has escaped. Musti and Daddy help the ringmaster to look for him. Musti spots a trail of peanut shells. It leads them to Bongo. He is eating a banana in Mummy’s kitchen.
Het circus is aangekomen in de stad. Musti en papa gaan een kijkje nemen. De circusdirecteur verwelkomt hen. Eens aangekomen bij de apen, stellen ze vast dat Bongo de Aap ontsnapt is. Musti en zijn papa besluiten om mee te helpen zoeken. Musti ziet een spoor van pindanootjes en dit leidt hen naar het huis van Musti!
