Pili and Leilani help Kimo clean his mother's garage. Inside, he finds mementos of his grandfather's past. Unfortunately, the contents don't tell the whole story of who his grandfather was.
Pili needs comic book money, and the price of Musubi keeps going up, but working on the farm isn't paying much. Together with Kimo, the two sus out other options to make cash. Meanwhile, Leilani corners a lucrative market and focuses on the hustle.
Pili's foray into being a social influencer comes to a head when his internet troll challenges him to a Mukbang competition. Lei is supposed to give Pili a ride to gather his ingredients, but her truck breaks down.
The neighborhood comes together for Pili's birthday party. Kimo pushes the limits with Leilani by encouraging Pili to get drunk, and when the party gets sidetracked by a power outage, Lei and Kimo have a ghostly encounter.
Kimo's dreams give him insight into his friendships and memories of his past; Uncle comes over to help clean up Pili's party while trying to have a heart-to-heart with Kimo, and Olina goes with the aunties to Bingo with the kupuna.
While walking through Makawao Town, the gang encounters an OPC who convinces them they can receive an all-you-can-eat boat ride if they get a timeshare presentation.
