Katja en Simon kennen elkaar sinds hun studententijd en hebben elkaar gevonden in hun scherpe observaties van de wereld om hen heen en niets- en niemand ontziende humor. Van die scherpte is weinig meer over sinds Simon na een medische misser deels verlamd is en afasie heeft gekregen. Dan doet Simon Katja een voorstel waarmee hij alles op het spel zet.
Katja et Simon ont en commun un sens aigu de l’observation et un humour impitoyable. Cette vivacité se trouve cependant bien entamée lorsque Simon se trouve affecté par un handicap partiel doublé d’une aphasie. Simon prend alors tous les risques en proposant à Katja d’aller chercher ailleurs à satisfaire ses besoins intimes.
Katja and Simon have found each other in their sharp observations and in their remorseless sense of humor. Not much of that razor-sharp edge survived after Simon was left both partially paralyzed and suffering from aphasia. Then Simon risks it all by proposing this: if he is unable to provide Katja with the intimacy that she needs, then perhaps she should look for it in someone else.
カチャとシモンは、鋭い観察眼と切れ味のあるユーモアのセンスで互いを認め合ってきた。しかしシモンが半身不随と言語障害を患ったのちは、その鋭い切れ味があまり発揮されることはなかった。彼はカチャが望む親密な関係を与えることができないのなら、他の人に与えてもらうべきかもしれないと考える。
Katja e Simon si conoscono dai tempi degli studenti e si sono ritrovati grazie alle loro acute osservazioni del mondo che li circonda e al loro spietato umorismo. Poco di quella nitidezza è rimasta poiché Simon è parzialmente paralizzato dopo un errore medico e ha sviluppato l'afasia. Quindi Simon fa a Katja una proposta che mette tutto in gioco.
