    Now, moving on the next set of yoga poses. Over time, yoga makes you taller. Yoga will elongate your muscles, so when modeling a designer outfit, you have the long, lean, strong frame that every model needs.

  • S01E03 Opening

    In a photo shoot, a model has to move seamlessly from pose to pose until they get that perfect shot. The focus of practice is to work through the center, strengthening the abdominal lumbar and gluteal muscles as well as the inclusion of the Swadhisthana and Manipur chakras. Openness in the body allows a model the freedom to move without limitations.

    Breathing is one of the most important aspects of Yoga. It can create energy, openness, awareness, and relaxation depending on how you use it. Models need to be relaxed and calm in a hectic situation and also need to be able to stay energized during long working hours.

    Balance is the centeral focus of today's workout. Modeling is not only about looking good but it's also about knowing how to move your body in a way that accentuates your best assets. Yoga combines balance, flexibility and strength and it also creates a sense of calm and focus.

  • S02E01 Practice 1

    Devoted to inclusion, elaboration, alignment and tension of the anterior-posterior surface of the body. The focus is on breathing, press and muscles of internal organs.

  • S02E02 Practice 2

    Aimed at strengthening the muscles of the legs, hips elaboration, work with the lower chakras.

  • S02E03 Practice 3

    • December 2, 2015

    The focus of practice is to work through the center, strengthening the abdominal lumbar and glut muscles as well as the inclusion of the Swadhisthana and Manipur chakras.

  • S02E04 Practice 4

    • December 3, 2015

    Dedicated to exercises with twisting. Twisting is needed to preserve flexibility and the health of the spine.

  • S02E05 Practice 5

    • December 4, 2015

    It aims to develop the flexibility and strength of the back, on the alignment of the spine.

  • S02E06 Practice 6

    • December 5, 2015

    The emphasis is on the disclosure of the chest, activating the Anahata and Vishuddha chakras responsible for the sensual and creative center.

Season 3

  • S03E01 Muladhara Chakra

    We focus on the First Chakra or the Root Chakra, the Muladhara Chakra. The First Chakra is where you hold your stability, trust and connection with yourself. There are many different levels of yoga. We are going to be focusing on some relatively basic poses to create a foundation for your practice, while also creating a foundation in yourself and developing your emotional, mental, and energetic stability. Being a Model can lead to a lot of traveling to beautiful foreign places and today's class will help you to feel at home wherever your modeling career may take you.

  • S03E02 Svadisthana Chakra

    We focus on the Second Chakra or the Sacral Chakra, the Svadisthana Chakra. The Second Chakra is your center for connecting with your creativity, desires, emotions, vitality and sensuality. When this energy center is balanced, there is a connection to the five senses and you feel fully alive. We are still working on developing your practice and today's postures will build on the Chakra 1 postures that you have already done.

  • S03E03 Manipura Chakra

    The third part focuses on Third Chakra or the Solar Plexus Chakra, the Manipura Chakra. The Third Chakra is the energy center of self-will, power and intention. When this energy center is balanced, there is a sense of being comfortable in one's own skin, and you will have a healthy sense of willpower. In today's poses we are going to work on building that confidence and fire inside of you that will drive you throughout your modeling career.

  • S03E04 Anahata Chakra

    We focus on the Fourth Chakra or the Heart Chakra, the Anahata Chakra. The Heart Chakra is your center for self-love, acceptance, giving and receiving. When this energy center is balanced, you will feel openhearted and ready for true connections in the modeling world and the people in it. We are going to be working on flowing gracefully between poses, the same way you may be asked to move between poses and expressions on a photo shoot.

  • S03E05 Vishuddha Chakra

    We focus on the Fifth Chakra or the Throat Chakra, the Vishuddha Chakra. The Fifth Chakra is your center for expressing yourself, finding your voice and speaking your truth. When this energy center is balanced you will feel free, fully alive and fully yourself. By this time, your Model Yoga practice is coming along nicely and you should be feeling changes in your physical, mental and energetic bodies and seeing your inner glow shining through.

  • S03E06 Ajna Chakra

    The Sixth Chakra or the Third Eye Chakra, is the Ajna Chakra. This Chakra is your center for connecting with your intuition, vision and perception. The first five Chakras focus mainly on the physical and are a little easier to tap into. With the Sixth Chakra we are still going to be doing physical postures, but we will focus our energy on our mind and the awareness of our thoughts. When the Sixth Chakra is balanced you will have a sense of clarity and trust that everything is perfect just the way it is.

  • S03E07 Sahasrara Chakra

    Finally, we focus on the Seventh Chakra or the Crown Chakra, the Sahasrara Chakra. There are many words that can be used to describe what you will feel when the Seventh Chakra is balanced. Some of these words or feelings would be Bliss, Nirvana, Samadhi, Inner Peace or connection with your Higher Self. These feelings are possible when All the Chakras are Balanced and Awakened. As a model when you develop and nurture these sensations you will be beaming with light and the world will notice your grace, confidence, brilliance and shine.
