BMSGからBE:FIRSTに続く2つ目のボーイズグループを誕生させるべく始動した「BMSG 2nd Group Project」。トレーニーのRAN他、一般公募でオーディションを実施して最強のメンバーを厳選。世界に通用するグループを作るべく、パフォーマンスだけでなく、社会性、知性やそれら学習の吸収力なども審査の対象に。通常のオーディションで見られるような課題曲、ダンス基礎、ボーカル基礎の練習のみにとどまらず、英語の歌、読書感想文、美術鑑賞、演技レッスン、ディスカッション、大学講師を招いたレクチャーなどを実施。スキル向上と同時にプロ意識の形成、生活態度を改善していくための様々な「MISSION」を経験し、成長していくメンバーたちを追ったドキュメンタリー番組
