Lisa Fendall meets 22-year-old Heather, who is 26 weeks pregnant with her second child and smokes. Alison Williams attempts to help 35-year-old Juliet, a who likes to drink change her lifestyle. Carol Hemmings attempts to help 22-year-old Kayley who, at three months pregnant improve her diet.
Natalie is expecting twins and still in her teens. She is under-eating and is relying on a diet of toast and supplement pills to keep off the weight. The midwives also try and help overweight Kimberly, who is five months pregnant and living off a diet of junk food.
The midwives attempt to help Amy and Sarah who are both smoking their way through their pregnancies despite the impact it could be having on their unborn children. They also try and help Sophie who's diet consists of junk food.
The team of midwives attempt to help Tiffany, a chef from Gloucester, who is six months pregnant and her all she eats isof pizza and chips. They also attempt to help Carrie from Bristol and Sarah from Edinburgh who have refused to give up smoking whilst they are pregnant.
This week the midwives attempt to help 22-year-old Chelsey, who finds it hard to believe smoking is really bad for her unborn baby. They also try to help 27-year-old Laura, who is struggling to cope with her second pregnancy.
