In this video Dr. Bastiaan Willems Postdoctoral Fellow at the University College London and I discuss Operation Westwind, which was a successful breakout from Königsberg towards the Festung Pillau in early 1945. We discuss how this was still possible in 1945 and also what the long-term results were.
