Winter War: What everyone got wrong! Reexamining

We need to re-examine our view of the Red Army in the Winter War (1939-1940). The traditional narrative is that the Red Army failed in the Winter War, yet, this is only partially correct. We need to take a look at the bigger picture, namely at the effectiveness of the Red Army dealing with severe losses and various problems without collapsing. This allows for a better understanding of the Red Army's performance in Operation Barbarossa (1941) and the war on the Eastern Front in general.
