In this video we look at the introduction of a Fire Control Manual for Motorized Rifle- and Tank-Units of East German (DDR/GDR) National People's Army, the manual was a direct translation from the Red Army manual and released in 1974. This gives a basic idea on the Soviet approach to tactics, doctrine and fire control in contrast to the US Forces. Additionally, the basics about Soviet Norms are explained.
