Ajayan, a failed writer, turns up on a live television show and announces that he is going to commit 7 perfect murders in 7 days. As the audience goes into panic the police force assemble outside the studio to stop him. But when he reveals the victim’s identity, every one is baffled. Will Ajayan kill on-air as he claims?
The Challenge! A police team is assembled under DySP Jacob Anookkaran, to investigate the crime. Ajayan announces the second victim. Jacob’s immediate challenge is to find out if Ajayan’s threat is real. Will a lonely war veteran, be saved by Jacob or fall prey to Ajayan?
The Plan of Attack! Ajayan chooses his next victim on the basis of “gender equality”. What is equality, when a man is playing god with the lives of others? Will Jacob and team be able to save this victim before their one hour runs out?
Hope of Success ! A master puppeteer he claims. He pulls the strings of not just the victim, but the police force too, it appears. He sheds some feeble light on his motivation. Will that help save the victim? Finally a win for the police, looks like.
Mixed bag! Police find Ajayan’s last victim. The team also manages to figure out his methods and motives. Will it be enough to save the next victim? On the personal front, Jacob gets a much needed closure. Ajayan’s latest message throws some key questions at the society.
Watch where you tread! The deaths send ripples across the society. On her show Sumitra continues to bring to the fore Ajayan’s real message- that all lives matter. Jacob seeks the help of Lucas, a tech expert, to track victims. He cracks a clue in Ajayan’s message and locates the victim before the deadline. But then again, are things as they seem?
With Lucas on board, identifying the victim is a little easier. Someone connected to Ajayan surfaces and Jacob discovers a deeper pattern behind Ajayan’s choice of victims. The team is still reeling from the last blow. Will they recover in time to save the next victim?
