Alison will mit Keith zusammen nach Seattle ziehen, was keiner ihrer Freunde verstehen kann. Besonders Billy ist entsetzt über Alisons überstürzten Entschluss, denn seitdem bei Amanda wohnt, ist ihm klar geworden, dass er sich menschlich viel besser mit Alison versteht. Probleme gibt es auch bei Jane und Michael. Jane trifft sich alleine mit Sam, einem alten Freund, weil Michael verhindert ist. Während der nostalgischen Auffrischung alter Erinnerungen kommen Jane und Sam sich näher und tauschen sogar einen leidenschaftlichen Kuss aus. Kann sie diesen Ausrutscher vor Michael verheimlichen?
Billy and Amanda bicker constantly after he moves in with her. Alison quits her job and decides to move to Seattle with Keith. Billy confronts Amanda after she insults Alison at her farewell party. Amanda sarcastically wonders if Billy would rather be with Alison. Billy breaks up with Amanda and moves out. He drives Alison and Keith to the airport, but then pleads with Alison to stay in Los Angeles. She tells him that it is too late to change her mind, and leaves. Michael's college friend Sam makes a pass at Jane after they have dinner together. Michael is livid when Sam--not Jane--is the one to tell him about the incident. Kimberly offers to ""comfort"" him.
Keith invite Alison à venir habiter avec lui. Au travail, elle dit à Amanda qu'elle s'en va à Seattle et perds alors son poste. Jake et Jo aident Billy à déménager alors qu'Alison leur dit qu'elle déménage elle aussi. L'appartement reste alors vide. Michael reçoit la visite d'un vieil ami, Sam Towler, qui semble plaire à Jane. Amanda et Billy discutent de leur conflit d'horaire. Tout le monde organise un party d'adieu pour Alison.
A convivência de Billy e Amanda é ameaçada por brigas por causa de seus gostos diferentes: Billy é prático, enquanto Amanda é possessiva.
