Mit 610 Meter Höhe wird der Guangzhou Sightseeing & TV Tower in China der weltweit höchste Fernsehturm sowie eins der zehn höchsten Gebäude der Welt sein. Die niederländischen Architekten Mark Hemel and Barbara Kuit zeichnen für diesen ambitionierten Mega-Turm verantwortlich: Bei der Konstruktion kommen nicht nur ein innovatives in sich gedrehtes Design, sondern auch die modernsten Baumaterialien zum Einsatz. Das Bauwerk soll einerseits technische Zwecke erfüllen, andererseits zum neuen Wahrzeichen für die aufstrebenden Regionen im Süden Chinas werden.

At 610m high the Guangzhou Sightseeing and TV Tower is the tallest television tower on earth and among the world's top ten tallest buildings. Tough enough to withstand typhoon, earthquake and other assaults from Mother Nature, this elegant building forced a rewrite of the rule books.
