As Team Iceland recovers from their defeat, everyone is in shock as the board of directors for the World Medabot Corporation reveals themselves to be the Rubberrobo Gang. While Ikki tries to take in the news, Koji is pleased to hear that Sumilodon should be fine to battle in the finals, however things won't be easy against the World Champion, Victor. Seeing the Robos on television, Miss Caviar recognises Seaslug as the man she fell in love with and tries to talk to him, but when he ignores her she vows revenge, forcing Dr Aki and the Phantom Renegade to let her be Space Medafighter X in the final round. Meanwhile Rokusho learns tyhat Victor has been hired by the Rubberrobos and warns Ikki, who confronts Victor when Mrs Tenryou accidentally invites him home for dinner. During the meal, Victor tells Ikki more about the horrors of the Ten Days of Darkness, but even after hearing his warnings, Ikki is still determined to beat Victor and wim back Orkamar's medal for Belmont. À medida que o Team Iceland se recupera de sua derrota, todos estão em choque, já que o conselho de diretores da World Medabot Corporation se revela como a turma de Rubberrobo. Enquanto Ikki tenta levar a notícia, Koji está satisfeito em saber que Sumilodon deve estar bem para lutar nas finais, no entanto as coisas não serão fáceis contra o Campeão do Mundo, Victor. Vendo os Robôs na televisão, Miss Caviar reconhece Seaslug como o homem pelo qual ela se apaixonou e tenta falar com ele, mas quando ele a ignora ela promete vingança, forçando o Dr. Aki e o Phantom Renegade a deixá-la ser Space Medafighter X no rodada final. La señorita Caviare reconoce a Seaslug en la televisión como el presidente del torneo, ella intenta hablar con él mas no lo logra. Mientras tanto Rokusho descubre que Víctor ha sido contratado por la pandilla Rubberobo para conseguir todas las medallas del torneo. Después, el Dr. Aki y el Renegado Fantasma discuten sobre quién debería tomar la identidad del Meda-guerrero Espacial X en la final del torneo, mas la señorita Caviare los obliga a que dejen que ella sea quien tome el puesto para poder hablar con Seaslug, tomando a Belzelga como su medabot.
