The Reunion

Warren Coates, ein alter Studienkollege von Matlock, wird ermordet. Coates war Partner einer renommierten Anwaltskanzlei in Boston. Einer seiner Partner, George Dutton, wird unter dringendem Tatverdacht verhaftet. Die Tatwaffe stammte aus seiner Sammlung und ein Motiv hatte er auch. Matlock aber findet heraus, dass Dutton diesbezüglich nicht der einzige war.

Matlock heads to an old law school reunion where he meets up with his former classmates. After the reunion, one is murdered, and another stands accused of the crime, and Matlock faces the unpleasant task of having to prove that one of his former classmates murdered another.
