The Photographer

Starfotograf Randall Brooks wird ermordet. Hauptverdächtig ist seine Assistentin Amy, die Brooks kurz vor seinem Tod gefeuert hatte. Ein Foto, aufgenommen von einer Automatikkamera neben der Leiche, belastet Amy schwer. Matlock übernimmt ihre Verteidigung. Er findet heraus: Randall Brooks war ein Erpresser und drei Damen hatten allen Grund seinen Tod zu wünschen.

Amy Adler had a juvenile record before becoming a photographer's assistant. When the photographer she works for is murdered, she begs Matlock to help her out. While pro bono cases aren't usually his style, something about the feisty young woman catches his interest, and he agrees to help her out.
