Highlights and analysis of the day's two Premier League fixtures, as Sunderland host Liverpool and Stoke welcome Norwich. Sunderland head coach Paulo Di Canio brought in 14 players over the summer and is already under pressure after failing to win a Premier League game in August. Conversely, Liverpool made a superb start to the season, including victory over champions Manchester United. Stoke made a promising start to the season under new manager Mark Hughes, but after tough fixtures against Manchester City and Arsenal they will welcome the visit of Norwich, who have never won at the Britannia Stadium in eight attempts.
