Promoted pair West Brom and Newcastle have acquitted themselves well in the top flight this season. The Baggies have won at Arsenal and held Manchester United at Old Trafford, while Newcastle put six past Villa and scored five against Sunderland. Both league meetings were drawn last season, and West Brom have not claimed all three points in 17 attempts since Boxing Day 1984. West Ham have taken 10 points out of the last 12 against Sunderland and already won at the Stadium of Light this season, in the League Cup. Having made a poor start to the campaign, West Ham will be desperate to keep that good run going.
