    Just when it seemed Danny and Shay's luck couldn't get any worse, American lawyer Tommy Sadowski appears in Manchester. He has been instructed by Eminem to sue Shady Music for using the name of his company. The lads can't even afford the rent on the office, so where are they going to find 123 million dollars? To top it all off, Danny's record signing plan goes wrong and HearKittyKitty sack the lads. With no money and no contract to keep the girls, Danny and Shay quit the label and call time on their own friendship. Shay retreats to the sanctum of the Finnegan household, while Danny strikes up an unlikely friendship with Tommy. While Lou desperately tries to get Danny and Shay back together, Strange Pete has demons of his own. He has been asked on a reunion tour with the other 1990s Manc explosion bands, but is terrified of getting back on stage.

    Lou persuades Danny and Shay to give the label another try and they set off in search of a new signing. Furious with the lads for giving up on the label, Lou draws up a list of unsigned bands and orders them to sign one. The lads blag a loan off Danny’s dad Dennis and hit the road. When the car breaks down in the middle of Pennines and they forget the band they were supposed to see it looks like the label is over again, but can Hebden Bridge five-piece The Pott Shrigleys restore their faith in music?
