Si-ra and Min-bo hold their wedding on her graduation day. As part of an experiment at the hospital, Poong-ju and Ki-sik donate their sperm, but their samples get mixed up. With help from Ki-bun, Si-ra gives birth to Marie through IVF, but one day, Min-bo decides to leave for America. Twenty years later, Marie is surprised to learn that Min-bo will be coming to Korea to see her.
