Sajjan tells Krishna that he had gone to Abhimanyu’s house to ask him to stop humiliating Pratigya. Krishna believes his lies and scolds Pratigya for suspecting Sajjan. Later, when a man comes to their house to ask for Aarushi’s ‘services,’ Pratigya slaps him. Aarushi attempts suicide.
