In our Premiere Episode, Tony builds Jaime Lannister's sword from "Game of Thrones." This blade will be crafted from scratch, with a hilt forged from molten bronze, and then taken outside for an epic battle against a windshield. NOTE: Tony Swatton and Man At Arms have no involvement with or connection to the producers, weapon-makers, or production of the Game of Thrones TV series. Oathkeeper is a Valyrian steel longsword which is forged by Tobho Mott from Eddard Stark's greatsword, Ice, along with the smaller blade, Widow's Wail. It has black and red ripples through the steel. Its scabbard glitters gold and is decorated with a row of lion's heads and smoldering red rubies. The pommel has a golden lion's head with ruby eyes that shine like two red stars.
This week, Tony builds Oddjob's hat from "Goldfinger" of the James Bond series. The prop used in Goldfinger by Oddjob was made by British hat makers, Lock & Co. The bowler hat was then adapted by inserting a chakram into the brim. Oscar winning special effects legend John Stears was responsible for making the hat fly.
This week, Tony builds Finn's Golden Sword of Battle from Adventure Time. The golden sword of battle (also known as Scarlet) is Finn's weapon of choice throughout most of seasons one and two. The blade is dented, chipped, and dirty. Its hilt is black with some worn leather grip-straps and a red gemstone in the pommel.
This week, Tony builds Raphael's Sais from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The sai is a defensive truncheon originating in Okinawa. It is often mistaken for a dagger, as its use in the TMNT media would reflect. In traditional sai combat, they are carried in pairs, called saitachi. One is used for blocks and trapping weapons, while the other is used for striking, mostly with the knuckle.
This week, Tony creates Batman's deadly Batarangs. A batarang is a roughly bat-shaped throwing weapon used by the DC Comics superhero Batman. The name is a portmanteau of bat and boomerang, and was originally spelled baterang. Although they are named after boomerangs, batarangs have become more like shuriken in recent interpretations.
This week, it's a giant sword for a giant man...He-Man's Power Sword! Skeletor better be worried. The Power Sword is a fictional sword from the Masters of the Universe toyline, sometimes also referred to as the Sword of Power and the Sword of Grayskull. It started out as a mystical object in the early stories, in which Skeletor tries to obtain both halves and put them together in order to gain control over Castle Greyskull, while He-Man's role is to stop him by using more regular weapons such as an axe and a shield.
Keyblades (キーブレード Kīburēdo) are mysterious weapons that are heavily featured in the Kingdom Hearts series. Wielded by the main character, Sora, as well as a number of other important characters, the Keyblade is a main part of the battle between Darkness and Light.
Swords are used to damage both mobs and players, or to block attacks. Upon damaging a mob or player, the sword's durability will decrease. A sword can also be used to destroy certain blocks more quickly than with fists. Using a sword to destroy any block that doesn't break instantly decreases its durability by the equivalent of two strikes to a mob.
The most well-known of his shields is a disc shaped object with a five-pointed star design in its center, within blue, red, and white concentric circles. This shield is composed of a unique alloy of Vibranium, steel, and an unknown third component. It is virtually indestructible. It is as much an offensive weapon as a defensive one for Captain America. Cap uses it against his enemies, mainly, by throwing it at them and can perform mindbogglingly impossible tricks with it.
A bearded axe, or Skeggöx (from Old Norse Skegg, beard + öx, axe) refers to various axes, used as a tool and weapon, as early as the 6th century AD. It is most commonly associated with Viking Age Scandinavians. The lower portion of an axe bit is called the "beard" and the cutting edge of the bearded axe extends below the width of the butt to provide a wide cutting surface while keeping the overall weight of the axe low. The hook, or "beard" of the axe would have also been useful in battle, to hook onto things, such as shields or weapons, to pull them out of the defender's grasp.
A bat'leth consists of a curved blade with spiked protrusions at both ends and with handholds along the center of the blade's back, and is approximately 5 feet (1.5 m) long. The handholds are used to twist and spin the blade rapidly.
The Buster Sword is classified as an enormous broadsword. From tip to handle, it is approximately five to six feet long, with a single-edged large blade approximately one foot wide. The blade is a lighter color on the bladed edge while the rest of the blade is dark grey, and the handguard appears to be bolted or riveted into place. There are two holes near the handguard, variably said to be Materia slots or to be where Cloud clips the sword onto his back.
The Basic sized Sword of Omens is 6 inches from tip to pommel and features a prominent Eye of Thundera, with the Eye form on one side and the Thundercats logo on the other. Pressing a button extends the blade about 2 inches. The hilt of the sword can fold up, and the sword can be stored in the basic sized Claw Shield accessory.
The Orcish Battleaxe really sets the tone for the crude craftsmanship that is a corner stone of all Orc equipment. A one sided massive axe blade, made entirely of metal, sits atop of a long handle that is wrapped all the way up in a crosshatch manner with leather strips. At the bottom of the handle seems to be a stone strapped to the weapon to serve as a counter weight, reinforcing my earlier point.
The presence of the Adamantium has further enhanced the already razor sharp edge of Wolverine's bone claws. Aside from being practically indestructible, the claws are capable of cutting any solid material, with the known exception of True Adamantium and Vibranium (Captain America's Shield).
Hit-Girl is the deuteragonist in the Kick-Ass comic book series. She is a young but effective vigilante, trained by her father from an early age to be a costumed superhero and assassin. Hit-Girl is the superhero identity of Mindy McCready. She wears an improvised superhero-style costume and wields a pair of katanas in combat.
The Master Sword, also known as The Blade of Evil's Bane, is a recurring legendary sword in the Zelda series. Originally crafted by the goddess Hylia as the Goddess Sword, it was later forged into the Master Sword by the goddess's chosen hero and its spirit Fi, who bathed it in the three Sacred Flames located across the land that would become the Kingdom of Hyrule. Din's Flame in particular, imbued the sword with the power to repel evil, a power apparently augmented after the sword received the blessing of Zelda, which transformed the blade into the True Master Sword.
Unlike most zanpakuto, Zangetsu has no release command. The shikai form of Zangetsu resembles an over sized, though more elegant, cleaver blade without a hilt guard. The sword is as tall as Ichigo is, 1.74 meters, and has a black blade with a silver edge. When not in combat, the cloth extends to cover the rest of the sword and falls away when necessary, shrinking back to a manageable size. The cloth can also be used to swing the weapon like a flail and toss it at opponents, but this is rarely done.
Leona projects a solar image of her sword, dealing magic damage to all enemies in a line. Leona will dash to the last enemy champion struck, briefly immobilizing them as she travels.
During the time Sokka spent training with Piandao, he crafted his sword using ore from a recently fallen meteorite. The weapon is able to cut through various metals with little to moderate effort, and it has a distinctive dark hue that can be attributed to the material from which it was forged. Sokka seemed to have bonded with it in a similar fashion as had taken place with his boomerang, having given it the nickname "space sword".
A Bowie knife is a pattern of fixed-blade fighting knife first popularized by Colonel James "Jim" Bowie in the early 19th Century. Since the first incarnation was created by James Black, the Bowie knife has come to incorporate several recognizable and characteristic design features, although its common use refers to any large sheath knife with a crossguard and a clip point.
The iconic weapon of the Assassins, the Hidden Blade was used for both stealth assassinations and regular combat. It was their most versatile weapon, with multiple upgrades and forms of use. It consisted of a retractable blade, usually in conjunction with a protective bracer. As such, the blade could be discreetly extended or retracted, making it a valuable piece of apparatus. A cutlass is a short, broad sabre or slashing sword, with a straight or slightly curved blade sharpened on the cutting edge, and a hilt often featuring a solid cupped or basket-shaped guard. It was a common naval weapon.
Mjölnir itself is already extremely durable and nigh invulnerable like the Earth metal Adamantium or the Olympian metal Adamantine, and combined with the various enchantments placed upon it by Odin, is for all intents and purposes, indestructible.
Used in the 75th Hunger Games by Finnick Odair, the winner of the 65th Hunger Games.
Certainly the tiniest of the three legendary swords, Sting was crafted as a dagger alongside Orcrist and Glamdring. Just as its siblings, it glows blue in the presence of orc and goblin. Lost in the Fall of Gondolin, Sting was missing for millennia. Finally, it was found in the cave of three trolls and taken by Bilbo Baggins.
The Blades of Chaos, forged in the foulest depths of Hades. Once attached the blades remained so, chained and seared to the flesh, a part of the bearer's body. A permanent reminder of Kratos' pledge. The Blades of Chaos were a pair of chained blades fashioned by the God of War, Ares. Ares had these blades made for a servant that would prove worthy of his service.
The Falchion (ファルシオン Farushion) is a divine Sword that concurrently appears in the Akaneia Series and Awakening. Forged from a fang of Naga upon her departure from the realm of the living, this weapon is imbued with the power to slay dragons, and has, throughout its various incarnations, proven to be pivotal in vanquishing the existences of end-game antagonists.
An iconic weapon in the series, the Masamune is easily recognizable due to its length as a Japanese odachi blade. The design and color of the tsuba (guard) and tsuka (hilt) have varied from appearance to appearance, alternating between blue and gold and entirely black. The blade's exact length varies; usually measuring at least as long as Sephiroth is tall or slightly longer, which would make it approximately six-to-eight feet long.
The sheer level of detail is absolutely astounding. From the dragon sculpting near the blade, to the FMA symbol etching on the handle, the is one really fantastic looking spear.
The Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword consists of a curved hilt, housing an energy storage module and a device for projecting the plasma which forms the blade. The actual blade is composed of two partially ionized 'blades' of free moving electron based gas held in a blade-like form by two small magnetic-field generators built into the handle of the weapon. This forms and contains the oval shaped, ionized blades for which the weapon is recognized.
Every other Monday, master swordsmith Tony Swatton forges your favorite weapons from video games, movies, and television. This week, he tackles the Pokémon Honedge! Honedge is a Pokémon that resembles a sword from the medieval times. Honedge's appearance sheathed is dark brown with curved lines across its surface. Its appearance unsheathed is a silver sword, with a gem that looks like an eye engraved on its hilt. Attached to the pommel is a long, dark blue cloth with a swirl design in lighter blue at its four-split end. The sash is known to suck out the life energy of anyone around whose arm it wraps.
Every other Monday, master swordsmith Tony Swatton forges your favorite weapons from video games, movies, and television. This week, he recreates Black Star's chain scythe from the anime series Soul Eater! The Chain Scythe (鎖鎌, Kusarigama) also known as a Kusarigama in the English dub, is one of Tsubaki's Weapon forms. Tsubaki transforms into a long metal chain with each end of the chain tipped with a yellow handle that has a small double-edged and double-pointed scythe blade attached. Three dark grooves appear below each blade. There are yellow dots on the handles, making them appear as if they have 'eyes.'
Every other Monday, master swordsmith Tony Swatton forges your favorite weapons from video games, movies, and television. This week, he recreates Blade's daywalker glaives! The term "glaive" is frequently misapplied in modern fantasy fiction, films and video games to various thrown weapons, similar to the chakram or hunga munga, which can mystically return to the thrower (as in popular myths surrounding the boomerang). These objects are fictional, and are not in any way related to the historical glaive.
Every other Monday, master swordsmith Tony Swatton forges your favorite weapons from video games, movies, and television. This week, he recreates Jake's sword from Adventure Time! Don't miss the special guest appearance from the Smosh boys! The sword has an unusual appearance, the hilt being longer than the actual blade. It has a skull for a pommel and an eye on the guard. Half of the blade is serrated on one edge. Jake most likely is not proficient with this sword, as he is seldom shown using it.
Every other Monday, master swordsmith Tony Swatton forges your favorite weapons from video games, movies, and television. This week, he recreates Jon Snow's sword, Longclaw, from Game of Thrones! Longclaw is a Valyrian steel sword, in the possession of House Mormont for five centuries. Longclaw is a bastard sword (also known as a "Hand-and-a-half sword"), which is longer than a longsword, but shorter than a greatsword.

Gunblade (ガンブレード, Ganburēdo?) is a recurring type of weapon in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy VIII. Originally designed by Tetsuya Nomura, a gunblade is a fusion of a sword and a gun. The Final Fantasy VIII gunblades do not fire projectiles, but later versions in other games, like in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XIII, work as both a gun and a blade, although seem to work more of guns with blades rather than swords with firing mechanisms.

The Iron Helmet is a piece of heavy armor and part of the Iron Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The horns on the sides of the helmet appear differently depending on gender.
