The grand finale of project X5! 2009 BMW E70 X5 with a V8 4.8i N62B48 engine, finished in Space Gray paint over beautiful Nevada leather interior. This luxury SUV was imported from Dubai to Germany and it came to me in a very neglected condition. Over the previous 4 episodes, we set about overhauling its mechanical state and in this final episode we completed the following work: rear shock replacement, rear sway bar bushing replacement, complete refurb of headlights and retrofit upgraded projectors, bleed the brakes, front & rear differential fluid change, transfer case fluid change, cup holder replacement, M Sport steering wheel upgrade... With that sorted, the big giant meets Germany TÜV (MOT) inspection, which is the last step before we can finally hit the Autobahn.
